    Lagos Chief Judge, Alogba Recieves Association Of Female Judges, Pledges Unfliching Support

    The Chief Judge of Lagos State, Justice Kazeem Alogba has assured the National Association of Women Judges in Nigeria, NAWJN, of his unflinching support at all times.

    Justice Alogba gave this assurance while receiving members of the Association on a courtesy visit to his office in Ikeja High Court.

    He assured the association of its total support in ensuring that all the female judges in the state participated in the maiden edition of the International Day of Women Judges symposium being marked on March 10 (today).

    Justice Alogba noted that women play vital roles in society, homes, governance, professions, and in all walks of life.

    In a remark, President of the NAWJN, Justice J.H. Sankey, J.C.A. revealed that the association has reserved two day to mark the national programme.

    According to her, the symposium is expected to bring together female Judges from all Judicial Divisions across the country and from all High courts to the Appellate courts and apex court in Nigeria.

    The symposium is titled: “The Challenges of Investigation and Prosecution of Sexual Offences: the Lagos State Experience”), to mark the day.

    The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu will be hosting the maiden edition of the International Day of Women Judges symposium as a pace setter in the judiciary system of Nigeria.

    The symposium is scheduled to hold at the Grand African Ball Room, of the Lagos Continental Hotel, Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
