Congratulatory messages are still pouring in for the Osun State Governor-Elect Senator Ademola Jackson Adeleke.

This time it is coming from the Copyright Society of Nigeria, COSON, Nigeria’s biggest copyright collective management organisation.

COSON described his hard-won victory in the Osun governorship election as “outstanding.”

According to COSON Chairman, Chief Tony Okoroji, “the victory of Senator Adeleke is a victory for all Nigerians who have dreamt of the day when everybody’s vote in an election in our nation will count. It is a victory for the people of Osun State, a victory for INEC and a victory for democracy and a sign that all is not lost in Nigeria.”

“Senator Ademola Adeleke has shown himself, in words and deeds to be a true friend of and supporter of COSON, a pan-Nigerian organization that stands up for the rights of creative people, being himself a patriarch of a family of very creative people,” he added.

Chief Okoroji said that it is the hope of COSON that when the Governor-Elect assumes office, he will make the state of Osun where COSON has many members, a great example of a state that is hospitable to ingenuity and ready to harness the great potentials of Nigerian Art, Culture and Creativity for the economic, social and political good of the people.

COSON also congratulates its outstanding member, Davido, for his positive contribution towards the historic success in Osun State.
