The city of Ogbomosho in Oyo State came alive during the weekend as a senatorial aspirant under the platform of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Honourable Mulikat Akande-Adeola held 40 Days Fidau for her grandmother.
It was a roll-call of the bigwigs in political circle who thronged to the ancient city to organise a befitting Fidau prayer.
At Ogbomosho to celebrate with their own was the Chieftain of the SDP.
One of them is the party’s Governorship candidate for Lagos State, Jagunmolu Kunle Uthman.
The Governorship hopeful could not hide his admiration for Honourable Akande-Adeola as he penned a heartfelt letter to the celebrant.
In his words “CONGRATULATIONS on a resoundingly successful Fir’daus Prayers (and Reception for guests) for grandma in the serene and lovely city of Ogbomosho.”
Continuing he said, “We, especially the SDP family all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had fun. Indeed, you made the Social Democratic Party (SDP) proud.”
“Your capacity in politics as exemplified by the calibre of persons in attendance, across Party lines was mind-boggling. Prominent indigenes and politicians all over the country came,” Jagunmolu Uthman added.
