The Ogun State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has ordered that churches in the state should end all activities, including House Fellowship to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

The chairman of the association, Bishop Tunde Akin-Akinsanya, in a statement on Friday said during this period that the world now contend with the deadly epidemic, Christians should apply wisdom as stated in the Bible.

“In view of the trying time the world contends with today, Christians should apply the Godly wisdom as enunciated in the book of Isaiah 26:20 and stay indoor for a while until the danger posed by the COVID-19 passes away”, he said.

He also advised all members and church leaders to comply with the directive as well as those from the state government regarding measures to stay safe and prevent the spread of the disease.
