Ifeanyi Bosah-Reginald, a businessman, has been arraigned before a Special Offences Court in Ikeja for allegedly tampering with forfeited property.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, charged Bosah-Reginald with a count alongside Magnificat Homes & Leisure Limited and Fifth Neighbourhood Management Limited.
Ifeanyi Bosah-Reginald accused of tampering with forfeited property
The EFCC accused Bosah-Reginald of dealing with forfeited property without authorisation, contrary to Section 12(1) of the EFCC (Establishment) Act 2004.
Despite pleading not guilty to the charge, the EFCC counsel, Mr. Babatunde Sonoiki, applied to the court to keep Bosah-Reginald in appropriate custody and requested a trial date.
According to the EFCC, Bosah-Reginald trespassed the property of Jokotade Tade Estate Resources Limited and Mrs. Folashade Ogundare.
The property, situated at Sangotedo Lekki, Lagos State, measures about 10,687 hectares and was a subject of a forfeited order in suit ID/2168/2015.
The court of competent jurisdiction had already forfeited the property to the Federal Government of Nigeria based on an interim forfeiture order.
The presiding judge, Justice Rahman Oshodi, ordered that Bosah-Reginald be remanded in Kirikiri Correctional Centre, adjourning the case until May 31 for the commencement of the trial.
