The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, has ordered the arrest of British national, James Nolan for jumping bail and failing to appear for trial. Nolan, a Director in the Process and Industrial Development Limited, P&ID, is standing trial, alongside Lurgi Consult Limited and others, in a money laundering case to the tune of $9.6 billion. Today, Meta announced the launch of the AMBER Alert Programme on Facebook and Instagram in Nigeria. Working in partnership with the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, this programme is aimed at helping to find abducted children by sending AMBER Alerts to the local Facebook and Instagram community in Nigeria. Three staff of the American International Insurance Company Limited, AIICO, have been acquitted of N1.5 billion fraud allegation. Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of an Ikeja Special Offences Court, ruled on Monday 19 that the trio have no case to answer.
