Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has imposed a total ban on the activities of commercial motorcycles, popularly known as Okada in six local government areas. The ban on Okada is to affect all highways across six Local Government Areas, LGAs, and nine Local Council Development Areas, LCDAs, of the State. The Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday destroyed over N10 million worth of illicit drugs. Leading the exercise was newly promoted CP Ahmed Kotangora, in the company of other government agencies. The intervention to rehabilitate and reintegrate sex and domestic offenders if they eventually get back into the society is ongoing by the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency, DSVA. It is to provide psychosocial support for willing sex offenders. This communication is according to the DSVA.
