For allegedly jumping bail, Justice Sherifat Solebo of the Special Offences Court, Ikeja has revoked the bail of a suspected fraudster, Babatunde Olaogun, alias ‘Evil Genius’. Almost three years after an agonising trial, reprieve came the way of 53-year-old Sanni Arowolo, a landlord who was accused of impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old daughter. The Bus Rapid Transit driver, Andrew Nice Ominnikoron accused of raping and killing his passenger, 22-year-old Oluwabamise Ayanwola, did not report the incident to the bus station after the incident when he claimed he and his passenger was attacked by armed robbers. This is the evidence of a fleet operational manager, Kayode Aluko, with the Lagos Bus Services Limited, LBSL. He is the second prosecution witness. He was discharged by a Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday. A-29-year old lady, Nneka Maryjane Odezulu, who is the first prosecution witness testified on Monday that the driver of the Bus Rapid Transit, BRT, driver, Andrew Nice Ominnikoron, raped her from behind.
