Funke Busari, Lagos Two suspected drug traffickers arrested by the operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, at the Lagos airport have excreted a total of 191 pellets of heroin and cocaine while under observation. This happened on 10th April 2021, during the outward screening of passengers on Ethiopian airline to Italy. Funke Busari, Lagos The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Ikeja branch, is sounding a warning to join the ongoing strike embarked upon by the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN. The association gave the warning at its meeting held in Ikeja on Tuesday. The Eritrean authorities have released on bail 36 prisoners who had been in detention because of their faith. Sources said 14 of the released prisoners have been in detention for the past four years in the Dahilik Island. Twenty-two others arrested at end of last month have also been freed on bail. According to a report monitored on BBC, the prisoners are all from Christian Evangelical and Pentecostal denominations.
