Slated hearing of the plea bargain agreement of convicted billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, alias Evans has suffered a setback on Thursday.

Evans co-defendant, Joseph Emeka, was also absent in court.
The Defence Counsel for Mr. Nelson Onyejaka frowned at absence of the prosecution and the first defendant’s counsel.
According to Onyejaka “I do not know whether they aware that the case is coming up today.
“We are still going with the plea bargain my lord,” Onyejaka said.
Judge issues production warrant on Evans
Subsequently, Justice Adenike Cokers of the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja ordered that production warrant be issued for re-arraignment and plea bargain outcome.
The judge adjourned the case until November 21.
The prosecution had on May 11 informed the court that the defendants had opted plea bargain agreement.
Evans and his co-defendant were to be re-arraigned on an amended five counts of murder, attempt to murder, conspiracy to commit felony to wit: kidnapping and attempt to murder.
