All is now set for the town hall meeting, with the theme “Justiciability of Chapter 2 of the 1999 Constitution – Pragmatic Measures for Government’s Accountability” by the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development Law, NBA-SPIDEL.
The event is scheduled to hold on Monday 28, 2022 at Marriot Hotel, Lagos.

CASEFILE gathered that the basis for the town hall meeting is to make the Nigerian judiciary be aware that they owe the citizens of Nigeria the abiding responsibility to interprete the 1999 constitution to give life to the spirit and letter behind it.
Secondly, the public interest lawyers and activists should not give up hope yet but must strenuously seek to propel the judiciary to develop the legal jurisprudence that accords with justice and equity to the people.
