The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, has successfully disrupted organised human trafficking activities and rescued 25 victims in Abuja. The victims, predominantly women, aged between 17 and 43, were intercepted while preparing to travel to Saudi Arabia under the false promise of lucrative domestic work. An Ikeja Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday discharged Miss Comfort Emmason of the offence of unruly behaviour and assault against flight crew members aboard an Ibom Air aircraft from Uyo to Lagos on Sunday, following the withdrawal of the five-count charge filed against her by the Police. The Inspector General Of Police, Kayode Egbetokun has ordered investigation into the August 5, 2025 incident involving Fuji Maestro, Wasiu Ayinde, also known as KWAM 1 and ValueJet at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja.
